Application for Registration to Foundation Course- Discrepancy Cases
This User Manual intended for applicants who has successfully submitted CA Foundations Application, and due to some discrepancies, Application is marked as “Ask for Correction by Verifier/ Ask for Correction by RO/Pending”. To rectify the Discrepancies, applicants are required to authenticate, and correct/upload required documents and submit again.
Step 1 : Browse/Navigate to below url and authenticate using credentials

Step 2 : Once, Applicant is authenticated successfully, Application Form with discrepancy will open automatically as highlighted below. Applicant is required to refer the remarks carefully. Based on the Discrepancies, Applicant is required to correct information/upload documents and submit.
A. Proof of Date of Birth (DoB) :
Discrepancy : In case, Date of Birth is not mentioned in X/XII Marksheet/Certificate. Applicant is required to provide the Date of Birth Proof for verification of ICAI.
Required Steps : Applicant is required to upload Self-attested Scanned Copy of Date of Birth Proof (Birth Certificate, Passport, PAN Card, any other Government id having DOB).DOB proof needs to be clubbed with X Marksheet/Passing Certificate i.e. 2 Page PDF Document (Page 1 Should be X Marksheet and 2nd Page as DOB Proof) and uploaded in Qualifications Details-> Educational Qualification Section.
Once File is uploaded, Click on Save and next and Submit the Application. If required, Applicant may check the document uploaded and verify the same before submission. Click here to download as highlighted below.
2. Photo/Signature
Discrepancy : ICAI is not able to verify Photo or Signature or both due to various reasons i.e. Photo/Signature not uploaded, Size is not appropriate, Wrongly uploaded, Not Visible etc.
Required Steps : Applicant is required to upload Photo/Signature in the Payment Details-> Required list of Documents.
If required, Applicant may check the photo/signature uploaded and verify the same before submission.
3. Personal Details
Discrepancy : Applicant Name/Fathers/Mothers Name or Any Details is not as per X/XII Marksheet/Certificate.
Required Steps : Applicant is required to correct the personal Details as mentioned in X/XII marksheet/Certificate. i.e. For Name Change, Applicant is required to correct the details in highlighted section. Similarly, For Other Personal details, same needs to be corrected and save, exit and Submitted. (In case DOB is entered wrongly, Applicant would not be able to change, Same would be corrected by ICAI only).
4. X/XX Marksheet/Certificate
Discrepancy : X/XX marksheet/Certificate is not self-attested, Not clear, Wrongly uploaded, Not as specified.
Required Steps : Applicant is required to upload Self-attested Scanned Copy of documents in Qualifications Details-Educational Qualification Section as highlighted below.
Once File is uploaded, Click on Save and next and Submit the Application. If required, Applicant may check the document uploaded and verify the same before submission. Click here to download as heighted below.
After performing required steps, applicant is required to enter captcha/OTP and Submit the Application. Once, Application is verified and approved by ICAI, Applicant would receive the Student Registration Number and Login details for SSP Portal.
