BEHOLDEN TO COVID-19 WARRIORS

Acknowledging the good that you have in your life is the foundation for all abundance.

Right now, our warriors amongst which healthcare workers and securities are on the frontlines of battling the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) that’s spreading rapidly throughout our city, state and nation. They are putting themselves in the path of this virus — in Nation and around the world — in this unprecedented crisis. Our doctors, nurses, technicians, transporters, EMTs, pharmacists and everyone who supports patient care are rising to the occasion and caring for our most vulnerable populations.

Recognising the sacrifices made, every day and especially during this pandemic, dedication, commitment and courage deserve our deepest gratitude and admiration. The services to patients are saving countless lives and making thousands of differences.

We all know that we came into the world with ‘Big Dharma’- with a blueprint to teach self-reliance and a positive loving approach to large number of people all over the globe. I as an author intercepting the one of the best way to be grateful in the present situation, is rejoicing the good deeds of the people all over the world fighting pandemic. ‘Anumodana’ -recognising a good deed being done, is a traditional Jaina way of saying, I rejoice your goodness and hope that it is a source of great peace, happiness and liberation for you.The gratitude we show is a constant reminder to them that they are making a difference — a difference they may not realize they are making while in the throes of overloaded hospitals and too few resources that have become all too common during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Therefore, take good note of empathetic joy. And as you go through the day and give the Anumodana, realize that you’re rejoicing in goodness, reminding that it’s a character trait that deserves rejoicing. This gives nourishment to the practice. And it’s one of the ways in which we can help one another along—instead of dragging one another down. So, here’s a way of lifting the state of one’s own mind and others. And it’s all free. Those who are happy be happy for them, who are being good, be happy for their goodness. It’s free energy. Take and spread as much of that free energy as needed.
