MCA introduced Form MGT-7A for Small and One Person Company

As per the MCA notification Dated 5th March 2021, MGT-7 is now required to be filed by companies except Small and One Person Company [OPC]. Small and One Person Company will now file Form MGT-7A.

This amendment has been bought by Companies (Management and Administration) Amendment Rules 2021.

For Financial Year 2020-21, Small and One Person Company will now file Form MGT-7A.

MGT-7A is an Abridged Annual Return where details of shareholders/ directors/ related party transaction of the company are disclosed.

The due date of filing the Annual return with the Registrar of Companies is within 60 days from the Annual Meeting of the company.
