Overview:

Uber is seeking for an experienced Finance Associate at their Gurgaon location.

Roles and responsibilities:

The ideal candidate should be able to:

• Work closely with the finance organization and with business leaders in INSA to develop financial forecasts and operational goals, apply business judgment and financial insights to help with decision making, while also playing a key role in month-end business and finance reviews with India, APAC and Global teams
• Work closely with various country and regional teams across INSA as a key finance partner to the business Sophisticated financial modeling: build models from scratch, improve existing models, break complex models down into its most granular components
• Help improve our planning processes and ensure finance best practices spread through the organization
• New initiatives always come up in Finance.
• Contribute beyond traditional FP&A on a variety of projects which can range from providing
• Finance support to Corporate and Business Development teams to New Product launches and geo-expansion
• Be creative, adaptive, and eager to learn new (technical) skills

The ideal candidate should also have:

• Exceptional analytical skills – Best practices are second-nature, your models are efficient, scalable, and intuitive
• Excellent communication and people skills – numbers are key, but a business is built with people
• Self-starter – You will take initiative, be dedicated, set and drive toward goals
• Experience with Excel/google sheet and systems/tools such as DBMS/SQL, Finance ERPs (Oracle/TM1/Hyperion) will be a plus Attention to detail – consistent with swift execution
• Ability to pritorize

Eligibility:

• Bachelors/Masters Degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar
• 3 to 5 years of prior work experience in Corporate Finance/FP&A/Consulting, Investment Banking, Private Equity or Venture Capital. Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital and Management Consulting will be considered for candidates that demonstrate relevant skills/experience. FP&A experience at a high growth start-up will be a plus.
