Overview:

Deutsche Bank is seeking for an experienced Reward & Performance Analyst at their Bangalore location. This role will need a strong knowledge & oversight on Payroll & payroll governance & regulatory (India), statutory reporting, expertise in income tax and labor laws related to payroll India.

Roles and responsibilities:

The ideal candidate should be able to:

• Responsible for Entire Payroll (Expats & Local Employees) and other related functions.
• Maintain payroll information by designing systems; directing the collection, calculation, and entering of data.
• Establish a strong process for Payroll and other related activities and ensure to continue the salary payment to the employees on last working day of every month with Zero error.
• Establish a strong process & automate the FST (Final Settlement) process and work towards robotic process.
• Responsible for Payroll end to end checking.
• Ensure to timely update the guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Ensure employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
• Ensure the employee queries or concerns are handled effectively, efficiently and smoothly.
• Responsible for Expat tax management including withholding tax on income.
• Ensure the payroll related statutory compliance as per the statue (Tax, PF , PT, ESI etc) & Adhere to the timelines for the payments and filing of returns.
• Responsible for Tax declaration, Monthly Tax deductions, Year End income tax proof collections for tax exemptions. Also to ensure the tax exemptions as per Income tax Act & Rules.
• Ensure governance that includes compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, industry best practices and internal risk policies and procedures. .
• Establish the monthly governance meeting with the stakeholders.
• Identify and manage the risk areas effectively and ensure 100% compliance in terms of controls.
• Promote a culture of strong constant monitoring, evaluation and resultant evolution; of innovation and innovative thinking.
• Ensure nil misses in regulation for payroll, coordination on end to end Audit and control implementation across the processes, which is very critical in nature. 

The ideal candidate should also have:

• Strong Operational skills
• Good knowledge on Tax and other related statutory compliance.
• Analytical skills with a eye for detail.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Self-starter and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Eligibility:

• Bachelors Degree (B.com) or Masters Degree (M.com / MBA-Finance)
