Overview:

Swiggy is looking for an experienced Fixed Assets- Finance Assistant Manager for their Bangalore location.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate should be able to:

  • Ensure timely accounting and reporting of fixed assets of the Group.
  • Create and monitor a system of controls, procedures (SOPs), and forms for the recordation and managing the life cycle of fixed assets.
  • Technical evaluation of existing and potential updates to accounting policies related to fixed assets
  • Ensure implementation including discussion with external technical consultants, preparation, and finalization of accounting memos for the reporting.
  • Prepare audit schedules relating to fixed assets and timely closure of quarterly and annual audits pertaining to fixed assets.
  • Support and timely closure of internal audits.
  • Implement internal controls around fixed assets process across the Group and ensuring its effective adherence.
  • Manage the physical verification of fixed assets in line with the planned PV cycle for the Group.
  • Handle the depreciation, amortization and impairment analysis on the assets and providing a timely and efficient information to the management to take action on the assets sale, disposal etc.
  • Handle the fixed assets sub-lease accounting, accurate tracking
  • Monitor leased assets, timely billing, collections etc. including timely accounting and reporting.
  • Lead the Fixed assets automation charter for the Group, (Asset tagging, asset movement tracking, life cycle management)
  • Train and lead the fixed asset team for the Group.

 

The ideal candidate should also have:

  • Integrity: accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions and when dealing with others
  • Strong analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear/concise manner
  • Adaptability/Flexibility: being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel.

Eligibility:

  • CA with post qualification experience of 1-3 years, or
  • MBA, BBA, B.com Finance with experience in fixed asset for 3 years.

Experience and knowledge of Oracle FA module is an added advantage.
