Overview:

GE Healthcare is seeking for an experienced Finance Specialist – FP&A Operations at their Bangalore location. The role will provide FP&A support to various GE Healthcare business across the globe. In this role you will support one of the businesses in the areas of financial planning, Budgeting, forecasting and Cost / revenue analysis.

Roles and responsibilities:

The ideal candidate should be able to:

  • Support financial planning, estimation & closing cycles
  • Provide Estimation and Analytics support for Cost and other parts of the Profit & Loss accounts.
  • Collaborate with Operations, marketing, HR, finance teams to prepare estimates
  • Responsible in implementing simplification and digitization ideas
  • Ensure accurate headcount mapping, work on accounting hierarchy maintenance.
  • Create analytics around Cost trends by operational team, develop account-level expertise and identify key drivers for variances (Variance Of Plan, Variance against prior year, variance against prior estimate etc. )
  • Prepare detailed Foreign Exchange analytics
  • You will support businesses from a financial perspective ensuring financial stewardship and controllership
  • Own the monthly / quarterly close process – submitting estimates, tracking actuals, driving corrective actions
  • In this role you will provide timely and accurate reporting across teams spanning multiple countries and legal entities
  • Comply with local and US GAAP reporting requirements as well as internal GE policies and procedures

The ideal candidate should also have:

  • Excellent analytical skills: ability to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change. Good communication skills.
  • Experience with financial systems/applications such as Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, etc.  Advanced Excel skills in data compilations and aggregation (pivot tables, Vlookup etc)
  • Integrity: accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions and when dealing with others
  • Experience working in a global environment with sound understanding of global processes and transaction flows
  • Experience working with remote managers and teams
  • Trained and/or certified in process improvement methodology such as LEAN or Six Sigma
  • Clear thinking/problem solving:  successfully led projects/process improvements within operations/finance functions; able to quickly grasp new ideas

Eligibility:

Working hours in shifts (between 10:00 am till 11:00 pm)
