JOB VACANCY FOR CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT AT GODREJ
Overview:
Godrej is looking for full-time Finance manager for their manufacturing South Cluster at Puducherry. This role is for someone insightful and analytical to manage financial activities, partner across teams to create and execute operating plans and processes.
Roles and responsibilities:
The ideal candidate should be able to:
- Manage daily accounting and month-end financial closing activities
- Manage monthly GST filling (GST-Linked activities)
- Prepare and share monthly MIS reports and KPIs for the cluster
- Lead the Annual Operating Plan for the cluster, in partnership with key stakeholders
- Scrutinize and analyze trial balances
- Ensure statutory compliances and timely completion of statutory audits
- Partner with the manufacturing cluster head and support on identifying and implementing cost reduction projects
- Work across teams to improve existing systems and processes
- Extend support on Costing to relevant stakeholders
The ideal candidate should also have:
- Excellent analytical reasoning, systematic planning, commercial acumen and critical thinking
- Strong interpersonal, communication and project management skills, to work across cross-functional teams
- Skilled in Plant Accounting, SAP and GST
Eligibility:
- Chartered Accountants,
- 2-3 years of relevant experience.
Additional experience:
The candidate will report to Ritesh Nagar – Lead, PSO Finance, with a dotted line reporting to Pasupathy M – Cluster Head, South Cluster. He will also have the opportunity to partner with and learn from colleagues across our extended Finance organisation, which is led by Ravin Mody, Head – Finance (India and SAARC).
