Overview:

GSK is seeking for an experienced Finance Partner at their Bangalore location. The candidate will provide operational finance business partnering and manage a global function OPEX budget in all aspects of actuals, budgeting and forecasting together with quality financial control and reporting. The roleholder will own reporting of cost to serve and segment reporting.

Roles and responsibilities:

The ideal candidate should be able to:

• Responsible for global financial reporting processes for Global Finance Services related to all aspects of actuals, budgeting and forecasting including non-people spend ownership, ensuring quality reporting, insights and financial control;
• Provide operational finance business partnering support to VP Heads of Towers;
• Responsible for financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions;
• Drive collaboration and trust across Corporate and Global Finance Services Finance groups;
• Responsible for external benchmarking exercises including leading actions and insights resulting from benchmarking to drive up to upper quartile cost to serve;
• Calculate and monitor KPIs (Cost to serve);
• Responsible to ensure integrated and aligned financial charging for 3rd party outsource provider costs;
• Develop and coach a direct report;
• Pro active management of head office function costs including regular meetings with function heads / budget holders to ensure accuracy of forecast and understanding of any issues;
• Prepare presentations and provide variance commentary during finance reviews with Leadership Team

The ideal candidate should also have:

• Fluent English (minimum C1)
• IT Skills including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• SAP knowledge
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team
• Ability to achieve quality and deliver on deadlines
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Experience working with client groups with ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at various levels.
• Financial knowledge of modelling, analysis, evaluation, and forecasting.
• Experience working in a matrix organization
• Good prioritization skills.

Eligibility:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting
• Minimum 10 years of similar experience (finance controlling, financial reporting, budgeting, finance business partnering)
