GSK is looking for an experienced External Supply Finance Lead for their Mumbai location.

The ideal candidate should be able to:

Analyze and assess reasonableness of forecasts and annual 3/1 Plan after necessary review. Finalize periodic Forecasts and Annual Budgets. Present Forecasts and annual 3/1 Plan Budgets to the local Management team, above-country Regional management teams for reviews
Liaise with local Entity Finance team and interpret local statutory requirements, GSK corporate policies and Local Accounting Standards, and establish processes for ensuring consistent compliance thereof
Partnering with the External Supply Head & advice on trends, volumes & rate sensitivity, long range & short-range forecasts, recovery, inventory, pricing, margins & costing
Financial controlling of P&L & Balance sheet of the vertical & to ensure it complies with Local GAAP & IFRS
Oversee month closing activities, reporting of critical performance reports as regards opex, variances & commentaries. Presenting monthly & quarterly reports to stakeholders & ES SLT
Lead the audit (Statutory & Internal) for External Supply vertical as regards Schedules, observations & CAPA
Monitor & adhere to SoX Compliance
Drive & Support GPS across sites for achieving Cost reduction and operational efficiencies. Weekly GEMBA and put in place a process for review of financial performance for all departments
Ensure that all risks for department are identified, assessed and mitigated in accordance with risk management principles

The ideal candidate should also have:

Excellent skills in Excel (Power Pivots , Power Apps, etc.)
Proficiency in analytical tools viz. Microsoft Azure, Power BI, etc.
Should demonstrate the three knowledge capabilities of Business knowledge, Stewardship & Governance and Technical and finance knowledge expertise
Ability to prioritize and manage expectations
Interpersonal/Intrapersonal management skills with experience in working with seniors across international boundaries
Should demonstrate the six behavioral capabilities of Being enterprise minded, Driving partnership, Catalyst for change, Questioning & challenging, Option analysis & decision making and Communication for results
