GSTR 9 & 9C GST Annual Return & GST Audit Due date for FY19-20 extended to March 31
Considering the Various Representation received from the Industry and Professional bodies Finance Ministry has extended the last date for filing annual GST (Goods & Services Tax) returns for FY20 to March 31, 2021.
GSTR 9 & 9C GST Annual Return & GST Audit Due date for FY19-20 extended to March 31, 2021 owing to the continuous demands of various trade bodies. The format for annual GST Return along with the filing option was enabled a few days back only.
Various Representations have been filed with Finance Ministry for Extension of Due date for GSTR9, GSTR9C, Tax Audit & ITR Filing amid Covid-19 and other difficulties been faced by the Professionals and Taxpayers. Till now there is no official announcement for extension of any due date.
But as per The Hindu Business Line Due date for filing GST annual returns & GST Audit for FY20 extended to March 31, 2021.
