E-Invoicing Mandatory for Turnover of more than Rs 50 Cr

As per notification no. 05/2021 dated 8th March 2021 by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs [CBIC], E-Invoicing is now mandatory for Turnover of more than Rs 50 cr. Earlier the limit for generating the E-Invoice was Rs 100 Cr.

This notification shall be effective from the 1st day of April 2021.

This notification came as the amendment in earlier GST notification Number 13/2020 dated 21st March 2020.
