New E-Filing Portal to be Launched for Income Tax
The Income Tax Department is going to launch a new E-Filing Portal. In preparation for this launch and migration activities, the existing portal will not be available for 1st June to 6th June 2021
Officers in Field may interact with taxpayers using E-filing Portal or NeAC/NFAC for
- Issue of Notices, SCN, and getting a response for E-Proceedings
- Conducting Video Conferencing or adjornments
- Issuing Questionnaire, Summon, Letters Etc.
- Responding to E-Nivaran or Outstanding Tax Demand
- Communicating Final Order in Assessment, Appeals, Exemptions, Penalties etc.
